Overview
Dr. Agustin Perez Araos has a BCs. inIndustrial Engineering and Systems from the Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Estado de Mexico, holds a Master in Integrated Manufacturing Systems specializing in Automated Manufacturing Cells program collaboration Monterrey Technological University of Texas at Austin. Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Manchester in the area of Manufacturing Excellence and Knowledge Management. Thesis: "A Methodology to Support Knowledge Sharing Networks and Manufacturing Excellence Practices in Small and Medium-sized Enterprises. Develops Knowledge Management System MKSS in collaboration with the companies: Harland Machines Ltd., SMURFIT Ltd., FORD Ltd. and Bombardier Inc.
In ITESM Campus Guadalajara has served in various roles such as Director of the Center for Integrated Manufacturing Systems, Director of the Department of Industrial Engineering, Director of the Master in Quality Systems and Productivity. He worked as a project leader in the creation of workshops Vertical model. In 2001 he was named best teacher of the Engineering Division in Borrego Gold award.
In 2009 he was invited as leader of the Academic Group International LLC in exchange sessions knowledge the area of supply chain management, with the participation of CEOs of companies WalMart, Danone, Fedex, Aeromexico, Pirelli.

In June 2014 he was invited as a visiting professor at the University of Nürtingen-Geislingen, Germany.
Member of the Health System Engineering Alliance (HSEA).
Member of the Editorial Board of the International Journal of Operations and Supply Chain Resilience, Derby UK.
He is currently director of linking the Department of Industrial Engineering being in charge of different projects such as: Training in Lean Manufacturing in Pernord of Mexico, Implementing. Lean Healthcare in San Javier Hospital of Guadalajara, redesign processes in Mexican Red Cross, implementation of Lean Service in Amparo Taylor.
