González-Vásquez, Martín

Overview

Actually, is full-time professor of Entrepreneurship at the ITESM South Region. He received his bachelor's degree from the Instituto Tecnológico de Veracruz in Computer Systems Engineer, his Master´s degree in Management of Information Technology at the ITESM Campus Monterrey and Master´s degree in Business Administration in Universidad de las Américas Puebla. Martín González obtained his PhD with honors at 2016 in Innovation and Social Responsibility at the Universidad Anáhuac México Norte. He has twenty years of experience on management of information technology projects for national and international companies with presence in México and Latin America. He has worked in different executive positions in companies as Global Business Solution and Exact Software International. The last ten years at the University of Américas Puebla, he has been working as head of different areas and departments: Distance Learning Education Center, Student Recruitment and Institutional Advancement. From 2017 he is member of the Latinamerican Center of Corporate Social Responsibility Center, CLARES. Actually, he is certified instructor of the I-Corps Methodology in the National Science Foundation and Binational Nodes of Innovation an Entrepreneurship of Conacyt (NoBi). Additionally, he is member of the Academic Network and Multipliers of B Corp System. In 2018 has been named as International Ambassador of Models of Impact Methodology of Verynice.co. The last four years he has been working as advisor, consultant and counselor of national startups companies: MindLink, Nulliav and Ectotec. In 2016 he founded a startup company focus on consultancy services related with social impact evaluation, education, social innovation and social entrepreneurship, A Better World Institute, (ABWI) His research interests are social impact evaluation, social entrepreneurship and social innovation.
