With a PhD in Business Administration concentrated in Information Systems from the Australian National University, a Master in Information systems and a Business Administration background he has been an academic executive at Tecnologico de Monterrey since 1998 with different positions as HR information systems coordinator, Director of Master in International Business Program, MIS professor and Dean of the School of business and engineering. From March to July 2014 he was the Academic Responsable at Tecnologico de Monterrey at the Western region assisting 11 campuses (Aguascalientes, Guadalajara, Irapuato, León, Morelia, Obregón, San Luis, Sinaloa, Sonora Norte, Querétaro & Zacatecas). During 2014 through 2017 he was the General Manager at Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Morelia. During his professional activity he has been able to work in projects related with digital marketing, service management, quality management, negotiations and strategy. As a consequence he has been able to work with companies like Tenaris Tamsa, Grupo Bafar de Chihuahua, Grupo Tepeyac de Obregón, Grupo Selecta de Hermosillo, Arcelormittal, MARVES de México, TECMilenio, IBM Mexico, Kellogg's Mexico, Cinepolis Mexico among others. He has been visiting faculty at United States, Colombia, France, Chile, Peru, China and his research has been published at business and information systems journals. Currently he is a the Academic leader at International Business Department at Tec de Monterrey, Western Region: Guadalajara, Chihuahua, Aguascalientes, León, Morelia, SInaloa & Sonora.
