Bravo-Pérez, Diana

Overview

Diana Bravo, was born in Mexico City in a small family. During her childhood, her family moved to Guadalajara where she lived until 2009. Diana studied a Bachelor in International Business at Tecnológico de Monterrey and graduated in 1998. Her family, but specially her mother always dreamed that her daughter would be able to study in that prestigious university. After graduating from Bachelor, Diana was invited by Tec de Monterrey, Campus Guadalajara to collaborate at Virtual University Department. Her role was oriented to class logistics and student attention. During this time, Diana studied a new program called Global MBA, a double degree offered by Tec de Monterrey and Thunderbird, an excellent business school specialized in International Business. This was an extraordinary opportunity for Diana who had just finished her bachelor degree due to a scholarship. After graduating from the Global MBA, new responsibilities were assigned to Diana. Her activities were focused on the recruitment of new students in the virtual master degree programs. Follow-up of candidates, information sessions, admission test applications and sales promotion activities were the core of her new role. In the years to come, Diana continued in sales promotion activities for the virtual master degree programs, the Global MBA, the traditional MBA, a double degree MBA with University of South Carolina, and continuous education programs. The configuration of the department in charge of these activities changed during this years. In March 2005, Diana was promoted to Director of Virtual University department. During this time, she was in charge of the personnel working in this area, which major responsibilities were students attention and recruitment of new students for the virtual master degree programs. Budget administration, planning and supervising that objectives were accomplished were her main tasks. She remained in this position until October 2008. Diana got married in 2009 and moved to Morelia where she and her husband did marketing consultation for medium and small companies and also collaborated with Tec de Monterrey, Campus Morelia helping startups elaborate their business plans, specially the areas related to Marketing. In 2015 Diana starts working in Campus Morelia as Program Director for students in the Bachelor in Marketing and Communication. As time goes by, she became Director of the rest of the business programs while teaching Marketing and International Business courses. Being able to guide and help students through their programs having the best experience possible is very satisfying for her.
