Overview
I am a graduate of the Autonomous University of Querétaro (UAQ), where I obtained a degree in Modern Languages, with a specialty in Spanish. Subsequently, I studied a Master of Arts in Foreign Languages ??and Literature at the Washington State University (WSU). I have more than 15 years in the teaching area teaching Spanish as a first language and as a foreign language. I have worked in several higher education institutions such as Autonomous University of Querétaro, Lewis & Clark State College, Washington State University and Arizona State University. I have been in charge of the coordination of international students and the coordination of the Verbal Expression Academy. I am the co-author of the book "Spanish for Veterinarians, A Practical Introduction" (2000) and the Ibook "Fundamentals of Writing" (2015). I have participated as a speaker in several international congresses, with projects related to the teaching of Spanish, communication, and writing. I was awarded the Star Recognition as the "best evaluated" teacher in 2009. I am updated in the Tec21 Model: I have taken training on the Model, I have coordinated Semana I activities and I have been part of the design of a Semestre I in 2017. I am currently a full-time teacher and academic coordinator on Campus Querétaro Writing Center.
