Manuel Valencia holds a Masters in International Business from Thunderbird School of Global Management; has 2 years studies of a PhD in Management from the University of Texas at Austin. He is Director of the Bachelor in International Business at Tecnológico de Monterrey (ITESM) Campus Santa Fe.
He previously was Marketing Director at Souk Marketing and Communications, mexican consulting firm. Served as Marketing and Sales Manager at Corporate Concepts, exclusive distributor of the prestigious furniture brand Knoll; Director of the Bachelor in Marketing at ITESM Campus Toluca; Brand Manager of Aeromexico´s Business Class and Lounges and Department Chief of Strategic Supply of Flexible Packaging at Procter & Gamble Mexico.
He has taught several courses in prestigious Latinamerican universities such as ITESM, Bern University of Applied Sciences in Switzerland, Universidad de Nariño in Colombia, Universidad Autónoma de Nicaragua in León, Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México and Universidad del Valle de Toluca.
He has worked on projects for companies such as FIRA & Mexico´s Central Bank, Blue Pure Loyalty (pioneer in customer loyalty programs), Nissan, Mexico´s Tourism Promotion Councel, ProMéxico, ExportAR (promotion agency of Argentina´s government), Sopexa (government organization that promotes French food and beverages), Canacintra, Comeci (consultancy firm expert in developing business with Asian companies) among others.
