Hello, thanks for visiting my profile :) I am a full-time professor in the Department of Architecture at Campus Querétaro. What I enjoy most about my job is the contact with the students and the range of opportunities that teaching offers. Within the TEC I have played many roles. Among the most recent, I have been a pioneer in the design and implementation of our TEC21, designing formative units and continually preparing myself to be an evaluator of the competency model. In my teaching practice, I have sought excellence through reflecting together with the students on their own learning processes (metacognition) and also fine-tuning my classes in with reality through external collaboration, reviewing best practices and also by participating in national and international competitions with my students. Among my academic interests, in addition to competency assessment, I am interested in "Educational Spaces" as it is the convergence between my profession and my passion. I have worked within the TEC in the investigation of spaces and the development of competencies and, outside of it, collaborating with a Google Partner, with whom we have designed a prototype and with whom we continue to work to determine what post-pandemic classrooms should be like. In my own design and construction practice, I am interested in architecture as a service and architecture as an art that manages to excite and give "a place in the world" to everyone.
