Ramírez-Figueroa, Iván

Dr. Iván Ramírez Figueroa is an educator with a focus on leadership, innovation, educational management and the internationalization of higher education. He has an extensive track record in educational institutions, having served in both academic and administrative capacities, leading programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels. His career began with a foundation in Tourism Business Administration, which he expanded by earning an MBA from the prestigious EGADE Business School at Tecnológico de Monterrey. He further specialized in Global Strategy and Leadership during an exchange at McGill University. His academic trajectory reached new heights with a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy from the University of Toronto, focusing on Comparative, International, and Development Education (CIDE), a degree recognized by the Mexican Ministry of Public Education as equivalent to a Ph.D. in Leadership and Educational Management. In addition to his academic credentials, Dr. Ramírez recently completed the Higher Education Teaching Certificate from Harvard University's Derek Bok Center for Teaching and Learning, earning a final grade of 99/100.
