Hernández-Vidal, Junior Marcel

Overview

Marcel Hernández Vidal was born in Poza Rica, Veracruz, on May 22, 1982. An only child, he is the mayor of 72 grandchildren. He began his academic training at Colegio Patria, an institution affiliated with the Catholic Church, where he consistently earned first place in state academic achievement competitions for all six years of elementary school. He was a distinguished high school student, recognized for his academic performance. He completed high school with a technical degree as a Clinical Laboratory Technician. He holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Technological Institute of Ciudad Madero and a Master of Science degree from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM), Monterrey Campus. His work experience includes working as a quality control laboratory technician at the Madero Refinery's Maritime Terminal, as a process controller at Cementos Cruz Azul, and as a research trainee at ITESM under the supervision of Dr. Alberto Mendoza. He also provided consulting services to the CCL at ITESM. He has served as the Director of the Chemical Engineering and Analysis (IQA) program at ITESM since 2010, at both the State of Mexico and Monterrey campuses. He is also the Director of the Chemical Engineering (IQA) program at the TEC21 Model. Disciplined, cheerful, athletic, but above all organized and adheres to the rules.
