Martínez-Treviño, Jorge Alberto

I´m an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon from Monterrey, Mexico. I have always enjoyed to be involved in academics as well as in private practice, and I have been doing so, since 1998, when I started mi professional practice. I graduated "Summa cum laude" for being number one in my class. I did my residency training in maxillofacial surgery in Mexico City, and a Fellowship in Orthognatic and Reconstructive Surgery at University of North Carolina, USA. I´m Fellow of the "International team for implantology" and member of the "American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons". I have 21 years of teaching experience. The first 10 in the University of Nuevo Leon, in which I was Academic Dean at the Dental School, until I was invited to become part of Tec de Monterrey, as Director of the Dental Department (2008-2014). Currently I´m Director of Health Sciences Division, at the Medicine and Health Sciences School. I teach curses like Oral surgery III, Oral Implantology, and Pre-clinic of oral surgery and anesthesiology, among others. I am married, we have 3 kids, and I consider my family as the main drive for my personal and professional development.
