Monárrez-Martínez, Sonia

Dr. Monárrez has taught several courses at universities such as Harvard, Monterrey Tec, University of Monterrey and EGADE Business School. Currently she is the Director of Strategic Intelligence leading as well the efforts in accreditations and rankings at EGADE Business School; previously at the same institution, she was leader of strategic projects, national coordinator of concentrations; member of the research group in Business Analytics; as editor of the reports in economics and business BREVIS focused on Latin America and OKOMOS focuses on Mexico. She teaches courses in Business Intelligence, Econometrics, Economics and Economic Development. She has been a member of the advisory council for the Social Development Committee at Consejo Nuevo León. Additionally, she has worked as director of economic studies at Talous Consulting. She has a degree in Economics and Master in Applied Statistics from Tecnológico de Monterrey; she completed postgraduate studies at Harvard´s Kennedy School where she obtained the degree of Master in Public Administration and International Development with area of concentration in national and international economies; she holds a Master´s degree in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin. Her areas of interest include, Business Analytics, International Economics and Economic Development. He holds a PhD in Public Policy from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
