Overview

Civil Engineer and Master's degree in project management from the Tecnológico de Monterrey. He completed doctoral studies at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. He is currently a full-time professor at the Tecnológico de Monterrey Campus Puebla since 2013. Founding Partner of the design firm ICI Engineering. He teaches courses on hydrology, hydraulic works, water distribution and drainage networks, sustainable use of water, and geomatics at the Tec Campus Puebla. From 2014 to date, he teaches the international courses on construction management and total quality in construction at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) as part of the agreement between the UPC and the Tecnológico de Monterrey. In 2018 he was recognized as one of the three best professors of Civil Engineering by the College of Civil Engineers of Puebla. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA), and the Mexican Hydraulic Association. From 2007 to 2012 he was part of the Center for Applied Research in Hydrometeorology of the UPC as a researcher. In 2008 he participated in the Water Change project financed by the European Union. From 2006 to 2007 he was Director of Construction at the State Commission for Water and Sanitation (CEAS) of the Government of Chiapas. From 2004 to 2005 he was a Field Engineer building Cottages in the Turks and Caicos Islands and the Bahamas. From 2005 to 2006 he was a Junior Project Manager on the construction of the Regent Grand Hotel in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos. As a student he was president of the student club of the College of Civil Engineers of Mexico.
