PhD in Design and Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Zaragoza, Spain. Master of Science with a specialization in Industrial Engineering and Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Services Marketing from Universidad de las Américas-Puebla. Mechanical Engineer from the same institution. Former CONACYT and Fundación Carolina scholarship recipient. Currently, I am an adjunct professor at Universidad Iberoamericana Puebla in the Department of Sciences and Engineering, a lecturer at Tecnológico de Monterrey, Puebla Campus, in the School of Engineering and Sciences, and an external advisor for the company Norte Integración e Implementación S.A. de C.V.
My research lines focus on the prediction and control of variability in deep drawing and tube hydroforming processes, particularly in the home appliance and automotive sectors. I have carried out projects involving the implementation of reverse engineering in sheet stamping and tube hydroforming processes, as well as in bionic and biomedical engineering. I have 29 years of teaching experience in advanced manufacturing processes, technical drawing, reverse engineering, materials engineering, finite element simulation, CAD/CAM/CAE integration, automation (pneumatic and electro-pneumatic), and industrial maintenance, including KPI measurement.
I am the author of a book and several articles published in national and international journals, and I hold one industrial design and one patent. I was the lead professor responsible for optimizing the metallic structure of a cubesat-class satellite (AztechSat-1). I have supervised undergraduate, master s, and doctoral theses.
