Oyervides-Ramírez, Griselda Esthela

Overview

Industrial Designer graduated from Tecnológico de Monterrey, Monterrey Campus, where she also earned a Master s degree in Industrial Design and Product Innovation. She currently serves as an Associate Professor at the School of Architecture, Art and Design at the same institution, where she promotes educational processes centred on creativity, empathy, and social impact. Her academic work focuses on product design from a human-centred and socially driven perspective. She has coordinated and participated in research projects related to universal design, social innovation, migration, healthcare design, gender identity, and access to water in vulnerable communities, positioning design as a key tool for sustainable social transformation. She has collaborated in the development of products, services, and experiences for various companies and organisations. She is the recipient of the National Design Award with a Silver Mention and has exhibited at the Abierto Mexicano de Diseño and the San Diego Tijuana World Design Capital. In 2025, she received an Honourable Mention at the Diseña México National Award and was honoured with the David Noel Ramírez Padilla National Inspiring Professor Award in recognition of her outstanding teaching practice. She has also participated in national and international forums, where she advocates for the role of design as a driver for building a more humane, inclusive, and sustainable world.
