Rodríguez-Montes, Miguel Angel
Overview
Miguel is passionate about the functioning of entrepreneurial ecosystems and university entrepreneurship. He is an architect by training, holds a Master's degree in Administration, and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Administrative Sciences at Tecnológico de Monterrey and EGADE Business School. He currently serves as the Tec Entrepreneurship Manager at Tecnológico de Monterrey, Monterrey Campus, as part of the Eugenio Garza Lagüera Institute of Entrepreneurship, where he has had the opportunity to lead national projects such as the implementation of the Círculo Emprendedor model and the Nerix platform.
He has been a mentor in incubation programs, a workshop facilitator, and a speaker on topics such as entrepreneurship, innovation, leadership, social entrepreneurship, prototyping, tech-based entrepreneurship, and urbanism at universities in central and northern Mexico. He has presented work on entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial ecosystems at national and international conferences.
Since 2014, he has been a professor in the Department of Entrepreneurship at Tecnológico de Monterrey, teaching in the Schools of Business, Humanities and Education, and Architecture, Art and Design, in courses and modules related to business models and the development of new products and services.
My contribution to Tecnológico de Monterrey can be focused on the development and implementation of management and operational models that involve student development, working with various stakeholders, and including the implementation of innovation and technology.
