abstract
- Findings from numerical simulations of optically injected semiconductor lasers reveal the vulnerability of specific pulsing regimes to noise-induced disruptions in periodicity. This study illustrates that introducing noise into the injected laser model leads to the emergence of aperiodic behavior. This aperiodicity is primarily attributed to the interaction between the inherent laser noise and the laser¿s nonlinear dynamics. © 2025 Optica Publishing Group.
