abstract

  • In a changing world, entrepreneurship could be a key piece for the growth and development of a country. Therefore, we must foster an ecosystem in young people that inspires entrepreneurial spirit and innovation through education and the development of entrepreneurial skills. This study examines the impact of a company-based challenge and introductory entrepreneurship workshops on developing entrepreneurial skills in biotechnology engineering students. It focuses on changes in key attributes such as risk-taking, visualization, innovation, and proactivity. As a result, there is a trend towards an increase in the developing to advanced levels of the attributes. So, there is a need to strengthen and monitor this entrepreneurship ecosystem to develop students' motivations to undertake. © 2025 IEEE.
