abstract

  • In an era of educational transformation driven by the digital revolution and the challenges of the 21st century, ensuring free and open access to quality educational resources has become essential for meaningful, inclusive and equitable learning. Open Educational Resources - teaching, learning or research materials in any format or medium that are in the public domain or under an open license - offer enormous potential to democratize knowledge, strengthen teaching capacities, and promote innovative pedagogical approaches. The Complex Thinking Education for All project aims to create a collaborative digital platform to deliver training in complex and computational thinking sub-competencies to lifelong learners. The Complexhub is a digital educational hub with a variety of functionalities that foster collaboration and self-paced learning for everyone in the Spanish speaking world. We acknowledge that one critical aspect of opening collaborative contributions is ensuring the quality of resources. To support an agile process, the Automatic Quality Validation (AQV) is a protocol designed to receive contributions from Hub members, ensuring their adequacy to the Hub purposes and offering guidance on the creation and submission of OERs. By implementing the AQV protocol, the platform establishes a standardized, scalable mechanism for quality assurance that facilitates the integration of user-generated content while maintaining alignment with pedagogical objectives, metadata standards, and interoperability requirements essential for sustainable OER ecosystems.
