Using a qualitative research approach, data were collected through interviews and observations. The main results show that teaching practice is developed in isolation, lack of resources, workload, and indifference of authorities and shortcomings of the context. Despite these conditions, it was found that the teachers are able to adapt and make flexible the curriculum, and showing interest to encourage their student to learn.
