© 2016 SPIE. In this work we revisit Young's experiment and show how it can be done with digital holography. We study different properties of light and show that depending on how light interferes, fringe patterns in other observables arise. We explain this conceptually and demonstrate how this can be implemented experimentally. We aid the reader with a tutorial-like approach and provide the necessary tools to easily perform the experiments.
