  • This article questions, based on an academic project of collaborative documentary production, how these experiences could be integrated in the long tradition of community media and the critical discussions about the rights of people to the city, self-representation, and memory. Using contemporary theories of cultural agency, we interrogate to what extent these products extend the reflection about media autonomy and citizen participation in times of convergence.
