This article focuses on the analysis of common sense as a category that expresses a symbolic structure corresponding to the capitalist-mercantile mode of production today dominant. It is argued that said common sense, as a body of ideas, knowledge and guidelines for behavior, favors a state of the subjectivity of human beings in accordance with the requirements of said mode of production. © 2020 Ariadna Ediciones.
