Women in this country are the number one victims of violent crimes and many of these crimes are committed by their partners, or loved ones [1]. More serious crimes have resulted in the death of the victim. In 2011, only 22.2% of women older than 15 who suffered violence from her partner or ex-partner reported it to the authorities [2]. Femicide refers to the murder of women motivated by hatred, contempt, pleasure or sense of possession towards a woman. A relevant statistic showed that in 2016, there were 2,746 murder cases against women and the statistics continue to rise for the upcoming years [3].To model this complex a situation of Systems Thinking and System Dynamics is used as the central methodologies. The analysis of the problem starts with the collection of available information, followed by the creation of a dynamic hypothesis represented by a causal-loop systems thinking model. This was parameterized to analyze femicides trends and behaviors over time through a simulation based on the actual rates of partner abuse and the number of femicides thus would have an exponential growth towards 2022.
