Published by Universidad Icesi, Colombia.The aim of this paper was to know the moderating effect of job satisfaction in human resource practices and in strategic lines of corporate social responsibility, as business ethics, sustainable development, social development, and quality of life. For this, a quantitative methodology that implied the design of a questionnaire with 37 items was applied, collecting a sample of 458 data from people who work in companies in Northeast Mexico. The main findings show that the most relevant human resource practice is to meet the expectations of employees on time. Furthermore, it is observed that job satisfaction has a moderating effect on the proposed variables. It is concluded that these practices are key to the implementation of social responsibility strategies.
