Studies show gaps in what needs to be taught and teaching methodologies for entrepreneurship competencies. These deficiencies hinder students from proposing problem solutions of value to real-world challenges. This study followed a design-based research methodology to implement an e-learning course that contributes to entrepreneurship education using active pedagogy and technological innovation. The results showed that participants could identify their entrepreneurial skills, propose solutions to social problems, and grow in cognitive dominion. This research supports the practice of e-learning by offering a design-based model that can be used in other contexts. Considering the current pandemic-contingency situation in which e-learning takes center stage, this model provides necessary methodologies to support educational institutions in training their students, especially in entrepreneurship. This technology-supported solution has quality social, pedagogical, and curricular elements and an instructional design that facilitates entrepreneurship training. Also, it supports initiatives that need to be transmitted remotely in today¿s reality so that education can continue during times of confinement.
