All rights reserved.In this paper, synthesis analysis of optimal controllers for model predictive control is considered from two different points, i.e., theoretical analysis and practical en-gineering. From the aspect of theoretical analysis, optimal state feedback controllers are designed through variation analysis, corresponding to system state tracking and system output tracking. Then stability analysis for model predictive control is derived on the basis of linear matrix inequality. Model predictive control needs to solve one constraint optimization problem, being dependent of our mentioned online subgradient descent al-gorithm. Similarly, from the point of practical engineering, two different simulation ex-amples are detailed shown to illustrate our proposed theoretical results.
