abstract

  • Due to the pandemic period experienced in recent years, the classes needed adaptations, due to this need, studies were carried out on online tools which could collaborate for a remote experience closer to reality, in this way one of the evaluated possibilities, the Wokwi tool demonstrated It is feasible to present simulations and prototypes which allow an experience for students and teachers to present quick results without the need to use physical devices. This material presents the results of proposals used in the classroom and a personal assessment of the benefits and contribution of the Wokwi tool, which demonstrated the feasibility of using its main resources during classes on the Internet of Things. The experiments carried out were applied with some basic contents for the construction of solutions for the Internet of Things, presenting the main characteristics of the tool, the different options of devices and languages that can be used for the creation of projects, also addressing some positive and negative characteristics. observed during studies and experiments. © 2023 IEEE.
