Considering the current post-pandemic scenario, the experiments carried out during the virtual classes, allowed the evaluation of results that allow an extension of the face-to-face model, in this way the results of this study present the evidence about a process of application of the cloud platforms used during virtual classes to the internet of things, especially considering the moment of the pandemic, which provided many possibilities for renewal and adaptation. The results of this study demonstrated the capacity and feasibility of using the development platform known as Arduino Cloud, in which it was possible to demonstrate and apply surveys with students. The results presented demonstrate the opinion of the participants, considering their personal experience for the application in projects for different types of studies, the values evaluated as quantitative demonstrate an acceptance for the use of the tool, while the values classified as qualitative, after consolidated, identify the points positives and negatives for using this type of platform. The results allow a contribution to the area of scientific research, providing new paths and helping in the teaching and learning process with the presented technologies. © 2023 IEEE.
