abstract
- This work describes the learning problems observed in students who take the basic physics subjects of the common core of an engineering program from an instructor's perspective. Internet addiction, multi-tasking, and lack of attention and retention were the main problems detected. One of them is known as 'internet addiction.' We present some strategies that can help maximize learning in these physics courses. Results show that implementing Flipped Classroom (FC) has successfully increased the learning of basic physics concepts. This can be observed in the responses to the satisfaction student questionnaire obtained after implementing the FC model. © 2024 IEEE.
