abstract
This paper proposes an innovative application of the Multisensory Virtual Decision-Making Center (MVDC) to revolutionize course and occupational profile structuring decision sessions in the INFOCOMM Technologies sector, aligning with the demands of Industry 4.0. Strategic integration with the innovative web framework ShapingSkills seamlessly incorporates future skills, professional profiles, and dynamic taxonomies based on knowledge, abilities, and capabilities (KSA). Our approach guides decision-makers in navigating the landscape of evolving current occupational roles in search of facilitating the structuring of courses and occupational profiles that adapt to current and future changes within Industry 4.0. The MVDC allows decision-makers to participate in real-time from remote locations, maintaining a sense of presence in collaborative virtual environments. In particular, our methodology uses the ShapingSkills dynamic taxonomic system to structure courses and occupational profiles, tailored to the demands of the Industry 4.0 workforce in the INFOCOMM sector. This work innovatively merges MVDC technology and KSA dynamic taxonomies, improving user experience and decision-making efficiency, offering a transformative solution to plan courses and adapt to the evolution of the INFOCOMM workforce in Industry 4.0. © 2024 IEEE.
