Jose Daniel Azofeifa Ugalde is an accomplished professional with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the Instituto Tecnologico de Costa Rica (2016) and a recent Doctorate in Engineering Sciences from the Tecnologico de Monterrey, Mexico City Campus (December 2021). Focusing on virtual reality, his research explores multisensory environments to enhance actor immersion in scenario management for decision-making processes.
Previously, he served as a dedicated professor within the computer engineering department at the Tecnologico de Monterrey, Mexico City Campus between 2022 and 2023, showcasing his passion for academia and practical application. Currently, Dr. Azofeifa is contributing his expertise as a postdoctoral fellow in the ShapingSkills project at the Institute for the Future of Education of the Tecnologico de Monterrey.
Throughout his career, Dr. Azofeifa has demonstrated his versatility and proficiency in various areas including 2D/3D games, virtual reality, haptics, and dynamic KSA taxonomies. His extensive experience encompasses development, teaching, and project management, making him a valuable asset in any collaborative endeavor.
