Born in Zacatecas, Mexico, Dr. Barbara I. Mojarro-Duran obained her PhD in Business Administration from EGADE Business School in 2014, where she concentrated her studies in Leadership and Organizational Behavior. Additionally, Dr. Mojarro-Duran has a Master in Business Administration from New Mexico State University (2005), and a Bachelor´s in Business Administration from Tecnologico de Monterrey (2000).
Additionally to her academic experience, Dr. Mojarro-Duran also has a professional experience of 4 years in the mining industry, where she focused on strategic planning and decision-making. She has also contributed in diverse consulting projects that promoted the development and growth of SMEs in the metal-mechanic industry.
Currently, Dr. Mojarro-Duran is a professor in the Leadership and Management Department in Tecnologico de Monterrey, Campus Guadalajara. She has lead and participated in the Novus educational innovation projects, promoting the exploration and use of different learning methodologies and resources that enrich the learning experience of students at the undergraduate level. She is part of SNI as a candidate, and collaborates in research projects related to business administration, organizational behavior and knowledge management; her work has been published in Journal of Knowledge Management
