Mojarro-Durán, Bárbara Isabel

Dr. Bárbara I. Mojarro-Durán is an academic, researcher, and executive specializing in Leadership, Organizational Behavior, and Knowledge Management. She currently serves as the Chair of the Management and Leadership Department for the Central-Western Region at Tecnológico de Monterrey (Guadalajara Campus), where she drives educational transformation initiatives and prospective curricular design, including the architecture and development of faculty, the design of the 2026 Academic Plan and the growth and consolidation of the Leading & Competence Lab. Her career bridges academic rigor with business sector impact. She holds corporate experience in the mining industry focused on strategic planning and executive decision-making, in addition to having led consulting projects dedicated to strengthening SMEs in the metal-mechanic sector. In the realm of pedagogical innovation, she has spearheaded Novus projects focused on implementing active learning methodologies in undergraduate education. In research, she has been recognized as a Candidate Member of the National System of Researchers (SNI). Her lines of research encompass psychological safety, leadership, and knowledge management, with contributions published in peer-reviewed journals of international prestige, such as the Journal of Knowledge Management and European Business Review. She holds a Ph.D. in Administrative Sciences from EGADE Business School, an MBA from New Mexico State University, and a B.S. in Business Administration from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
