Pedroza-Perez, Blanca Elena

I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy with honors from the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Morelos (UAEM-Mor), a Master's Degree in Education from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM), and doctoral studies in Humanities from the Instituto de Investigaciones en Humanidades y Ciencias Sociales at UAEM-Mor (IIHCS-UAEM-Mor). During my doctoral program, I completed two international research stays, one at the University of Toronto, Canada, and the other at the University of Arizona, USA. In my professional career, I have worked as a teacher at the high school, undergraduate, and graduate levels in institutions such as TECMILENIO, UNAM, UAEM-Mor, ITESM, and the Instituto Mexicano de Tecnología del Agua (IMTA). I have also held positions as Academic Coordinator of Campus 04 at the Colegio de Estudios Científicos y Tecnológicos del Estado de Morelos (CECyTE-Mor) and as Academic Secretary of the IMTA-UNAM postgraduate programs with registration under the former PNPC of CONACyT. I have experience collaborating with IMTA for the curricular redesign of the Master's in Water Science and Technology (MCTA) and with the Instituto de Investigaciones Oceanológicas (IIO) of the Universidad Autónoma de Baja California (UABC) for the design and creation of the Master's in Operational Oceanography. In 2012, I joined the Council for the Evaluation of Upper Secondary Education (COPEEMS) as an Evaluator and Certifier of the academic quality of educational institutions for their entry and continuity in the National System of Upper Secondary Education, within the framework of the Comprehensive Reform of Upper Secondary Education (SNB-RIEMS) and the 2013-2018 education sector program. This role led me to create and manage the Centro de Consultoría Empresarial e Ingeniería de Morelos (CECEIM, S.C.), through which I evaluated and accredited the educational quality of more than 20 institutions admitted to the SNB-RIEMS. During the RIEMS period, I participated as an Academic Specialist in the development and validation of competency exams for teachers with the Centro Nacional de Evaluación para la Educación Superior (CENEVAL), in collaboration with the National Coordination of the Professional Teaching Service (CNPS). Since 2015, I have also participated as an Academic Specialist in the preparation and validation of entrance exams for higher education with CENEVAL. Currently, I serve as a National Evaluator of Innovation and Educational Technology Projects, recognized by the Institute for the Future of Education (IFE) and the Centro de Desarrollo Docente e Innovación Educativa (CEDDIE) for teacher classification at Tec. I am also a member of the official evaluation committee ANUIES-TIC, and I am the Coordinator of the Master's in Educational Technology at the School of Humanities and Education at Tecnológico de Monterrey.
