I studied Mechatronics Engineering at Tecnologico de Monterrey, Chihuahua campus, from 2004 to 2008. At graduation, I was awarded with the Discovery Scholarship of King Abdullah University of Science and Tecnology and given the opportunity of forming part of the first class of said institution, in which I studied a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from 2009 to 2011. During my studies, I conducted research in the field of Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems, and published a paper for the journal of the IEEE MEMS 2011 Comference as a leading author. After that, I returned to Tecnologico de Monterrey to become the Academic Program Head of Mechatronics Engineering and after two years I began my career as a full time faculty, teaching courses in the area of solid mechanics.
