Professor and postdoctoral researcher at the School of Social Sciences and Government, Tecnológico de Monterrey, Guadalajara Campus. She holds a Ph.D. in Global Development Studies from the Autonomous University of Baja California. Her academic trajectory focuses on critical development studies, alternative models emerging from the Global South, and anti-capitalist resistances linked to the defense of life and the pursuit of buenos vivires (good ways of living).
In addition to her academic work, she has participated in the design, coordination, and evaluation of public policies and social projects related to local development, violence prevention, and citizen participation. She has collaborated with institutions such as the Secretariat of Tourism of Jalisco, the Government of Zapopan, and the State Electoral Institute of Baja California, working in areas of strategic planning, institutional strengthening, and intersectoral management. This experience has allowed her to bridge social research with public and community practice, reinforcing her interdisciplinary approach.
