Overview
She has been Director of Educational Innovation and Digital Learning since March 2018, where she is responsible for the strategy and offer of digital education as well as for promoting and deploying educational innovation initiatives. She has a master's degree in education with a specialty in educational technology and a PhD in Educational Innovation.She joined Tecnológico de Monterrey in January 1992, as coordinator of Communication and Attention to Campuses and Headquarters. In her professional career within the Virtual University, she was director of Quality and Process Reengineering, as well as Logistics and Special Services. In 2000 she participated in the creation of the online education model as director of Academic Operation within tec.com. Later she was director of Instructional Design, Design of Learning Environments and Educational Technology of the Virtual University. In her career, she has been a professor of professional and postgraduate courses, as well as an instructor in courses in the area of education, educational innovation, leadership, transformation and team management, among others. She has also served as a thesis advisor and consultant for more than 50 international projects. He has participated in the definition of the instructional models of high school, professional and undergraduate and extension programs for the distance modality. She has also been an active participant in the definition of the concept of corporate university and the application models of virtual and technology-assisted education in companies (FEMSA, BBVA, PEMEX, Nestlé, CEMEX, HSBC, CFE, etc.) and universities. He was responsible for 10 years of the models and digital offer of the Tec Milenio University.He has been responsible for the initiatives of open resources, MOOCs, Microcredentials, educational spaces and video of the institution. She was an active participant in the committees for the design and deployment of the Educational Model in 1987, in 2019 (Tec21) and in Plans 2026. In the promotion of the institution's digital education, it has coordinated actions to deploy this modality as a strategy to face contingency situations and educational transformation. He was a member of the advisory board of COURSERA and is currently a member of the expert advisory group for the European consortium ECIU and the educational innovation committee of Universitas21. She is the author of the following publications: - Strategies for the dissemination of tacit knowledge in an institution of higher education.
