Positions

Victor Zuniga is professor of sociology at Tecnologico de Monterrey. He is a tier 3 (highest level) member of Mexico's Sistema Nacional de Investigadores and journal's editor of TRACE (Procesos Mexicanos y Centroamericanos) since 2012. His most recent articles and books have been published in Ethnic and Racial Studies (2020), Migraciones Internacionales (2018), Current Anthropology (2017), Mondi Migranti (2017), Sinéctica (2017), Mexican Studies (2016), Oxford University Press (2018), Presses de l'Université Laval (2016), and El Colegio de México (2019). He has been awarded the 2018 AERA's Division G Henry T. Trueba Award for Research Leading to the Transformation of the Social Contexts of Education. Currently, he is leading a research project titled: "International Migration and School Exclusion" (funding by CONACYT).
