He graduated as a Chemical Engineer Administrator from the ITESM Campus Monterrey in May 2000 and later obtained a Master's degree in Planning and Environmental Administration at the ITESM Virtual University in March 2003.
He began his work as a teacher at the Virtual University now Tecvirtual on same year. Since then he has participated in the design, teaching and improvement of courses belonging to the MIP and MER master's degrees of the Graduate Program in Engineering and Technology.
He is certified by E-Cornell University in its Strategic Leadership and Management program.
He has collaborated on the documentation for the CIEES and CONACYT accreditation bodies, as well as on a study trip in the summer of 2010.
In 2016, he participated as a teacher and translator of study plans and educational materials for the "Living class" initiative.
He was part of the teaching team of the Leadership for Business Innovation's pilot course with the innovative Adaptive Learning application in August 2018.
He has been a tutor in energy MOOC courses on the MexicoX platform from 2016 to 2019.
