Fernando Sandoval has a PhD in Management from ESADE Business School in Barcelona, Spain. An he is conducting a postdoctoral research in the London Business School.
He has been a professor at the Tec de Monterrey and EGADE Business School for more than 10 years in subjects such as Business Strategy, Leadership and Human Capital Management, Family Business and Succession Management, among others. He has also taught at Coursera a MOOC on Business Families.
He is a research member of STEP (Successful Transgenerational Entrepreneurship Practices) studying successful family businesses around the world and involving internationally renowned universities such as Babson College.
He is a member of GRACO-ESADE, a research group on knowledge and learning in organizations.
He has presented research papers at conferences such as: the EGOS (European Group for Organizational Studies) in Barcelona 2009 and Gothenburg 2011. And at the international conference FERC (Family Enterprising Research Conference) of 2010 in Mexico and 2012 in Montreal.
He has taught several courses, seminars, courses and has done consulting on business strategy and organizational development family business for 15 years.
He has published in the Development and Learning in Organizations Journal, in the Journal of Family Business Management, in the INCAE Business Review and in America Economía in his online version.
He currently is the Director of Entrepreneurship and head of the Center for Entrepreneurial Families of ITESM Campus Estado de Mexico.
