Larsen-Garza, Eduardo Erik

Overview

About my academic experience, I studied Computer System Engineering at ITESM Campus Monterrey (1983-1987), and MBA (specialized in Marketing) at EGADE Monterrey (1995-2000). Currently, I am studying the PhD Management Program at Hull Business School in England and working in my research "The Influence of Media Usage on Higher Education Decision Choices in Mexico's Centennial Generation (2011-present). Additionally, I am teaching at the Department of Marketing and International Business at ITESM Campus Monterrey (2015 to date).
In my professional experience, my first job was at the SBUs Department of Femsa Cerveza, where I worked as Systems Specialist with an approach to planning and finances (1987-1989). Later, I did a year of community service supporting Franciscan missions in Nayarit, Mexico (1989-1990). Then I joined to Caritas de Monterrey in San Pedro, where I volunteered as Leader of Human Promotion (1990-1994). After that, I returned to work at Femsa Cerveza in the Marketing Department, where I worked as Leader of Responsible Alcohol Consumption Programs (1994-1996), Institutional Brand Manager (1996-1998) and Leader of Community Projects at the PR Department (1998-2000). In 2000, I joined to Tecnológico de Monterrey, where I worked as Director of Planning and Market Intelligence (2000-2003), Director of Support for Postgraduate and Continuing Education (2003-2005), Director of Specialized Marketing Services (2005-2007), Director of Brand Support for TecMilenio and Vice Presidencies (2007-2010), Director of Market Intelligence (2010-2015) and now as Leader of Public Intelligence (2015-present).
