Dr. Luis A. Benavides-Vázquez is a data science manager and a part time professor at the School of Engineering and Science at Tecnologico de Monterrey. For one year, he was a posdoctoral research associate at School of Engineering and Sciences at Tecnologico de Monterrey. He received his Ph. D. in Systems Engineering from Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León. He also holds M. S. degree in Systems Engineering from Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León. His research interests include Stochastic Simulation, Statistical Process Monitoring, Optimization, and Nonparametric statistics.
