Wojna,Beata

Overview

"The most fascinating thing about international relations is the diversity of opportunities offered by the international scope and the possibility of constantly reinventing yourself, through the combination of theory and practice." Ever since she was a little girl, Beata Wojna dreamt of leaving the small town where she was born and raised, in communist Poland, to discover other worlds. Her dream came true thanks to her studies in history, and afterward, in international relations as a researcher, analyst and ambassador of Poland in Mexico and Central America, which gave her media presence and even the opportunity to cooperate with the entrepreneurial sector and civil society organizations. Her education offered her a deep understanding of the past and of the factors that influence our present. It also taught her to make use of information and data, a crucial ability in times of misinformation and manipulation. Wojna's passion for international relations led her to work at the Polish Institute of International Affairs in Warsaw, where she focused on European and Latin American subjects. Constantly updating her knowledge is essential to her professional development, adjusting to the realities of a technology-based world. Furthermore, the essence of her teaching work lies in knowing how to transmit her students love for discovering new challenges and seeing problems from different perspectives. She teaches them how to face challenges they may encounter after college and the importance of constant reinvention throughout a human being's life.
