Dra. Claudia Bautista Flores is an Associate Professor at the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM), teaching Thermodynamics, Electromagnetism, and Mechanics courses. She obtained her Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) in 2016, and her work was mainly related to synthesis, characterization, and functionalization of graphene, carbon fibers and carbon nano tubes. She also was an Assistant Professor in a Thermodynamics Master course at UNAM. Nowadays, her research interest is focused on nanocarbon materials for supercapacitors applications and sensor devices.
