I am a lawyer with more than 25 years of professional experience in the Mexican Federal Government. I have had the privilege of leading legal teams in various ministries responsible for the financial and tax policy of the Mexican State, as well as Mexican's domestic and foreign policy. The emphasis of my professional career has been developed in the public finance, tax and financial sectors where I have deepened my knowledge in constitutional, administrative, fiscal, and international law. MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS (2012-2015) Function: the Mexico´s Legal Counsel is the Mexican state´s attorney abroad for negotiating international treaties and agreements, litigation in foreign and participation in global conferences. MINISTRY OF THE INTERIOR (2012) Function: the Undersecretary for Legal Affairs and Human Rights is responsible for all litigation, legislative processes and legal consultancy; as well as dealing with all cases of human rights violations before international courts and forums.
