Pérez-Sosa, Felipe Abelardo

Overview

Dr. Pérez is Director of the FAIR Center for Access, Inclusion and Financial Research and professor of finance at EGADE and the Tecnológico de Monterrey Business School. He has a degree in Administration and Finance from the Universidad Panamericana, an MBA with a specialization in Finance from IEST-Anahuac and a Ph.D. in Economic and Administrative Sciences, with honors, from the Autonomous University of Querétaro. He has served as senior financial intelligence consultant at EY, Manager of Retirement and Investment Funds at Profuturo GNP, consultant, professor and researcher in financial inclusion and microfinance. He is the author of the books "Popular Finance in Mexico" and "Management of Individually Capitalized Pension Funds in the Mexican Context", as well as several scientific articles and conferences in Mexico and abroad. He is a member of the National System of Researchers level 1, member of the Regional Technical Committee of the IMEF Indicator, advisor to the Fintech Commission of COPARMEX, honorary member of the Mexican Actuarial College (CAM) and member of the Family Council of the Municipality of Querétaro.
Managing Director of the FAIR Center for Financial Access, Inclusion and Research, and professor of finance at the Business School of Tecnológico de Monterrey. Under his leadership, the FAIR Center has designed and deployed collaborative projects with Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth, UNDP, the British Embassy in Mexico, BBVA, IADB, among others, with the aim to improve financial inclusion in Mexico and Latin America. He is author of the books "Popular Finance in Mexico" and "Management of Individual Capitalization Pension Funds in the Mexican Context" (both in Spanish) and several scientific papers and conferences. He is member of the National System of Researchers in Mexico, as well as several boards and comittees, such as the Research Advisory Counsil (RAC) for Inclusive Green Finance initiatives for MSMEs project at the Alliance for Financial Inclusion (AFI), the Advisory Comittee of Strive Learning Network (BFA & Mastercard), the Fintech Comission at the Employers Confederation of Mexico, the technical comittee of the index of the Mexican Institute of Finance Excecutives, the Mexican Actuarial College and the Family Council of the Municipality of Queretaro, Mexico.
