Blanco-Garcia, Zurika Iveth

Blanco Garcia is a part-time professor in the Department of Engineering and Sciences at Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Estado de México. She holds a B.S. in Engineering Physics from UACJ, as well as a master's degree and a Ph.D. in Physics from Cinvestav. She specializes in quantum optics, photonic systems, and mathematical modeling. Her work integrates teaching, research, and academic mentoring across multiple curricular units. In her teaching practice, she promotes critical thinking and learning through modeling and experimentation. In recognition of her commitment to student development and educational excellence, she received the Profesor Inspirador Award in 2025. She maintains an active research program and participates in both internal and external academic collaborations. Her work combines advanced physical models, computational thinking, and educational experience to enhance students' scientific and technological education.
