Campos-García, Víctor Raúl
Overview
Víctor Campos is a research professor of Bioengineering, holds a PhD in Biotechnology from Tecnológico de Monterrey, a Master's degree in Biotechnology from McGill University, and a Bachelor's degree in Genomic Biotechnology from the Autonomous University of Nuevo León. His research focuses on Biopharmaceuticals and Bioprocesses, and he collaborates with the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries to develop novel therapies aimed at combating chronic-degenerative diseases. Some of his current projects include: 1) Development of cell therapies using specialized culture media, 2) New methods for the production of therapeutic proteins with long duration in the bloodstream, 3) Improvement of bioprocesses, seeking high efficiency in unit operations, 4) Design of nutraceuticals to provide preventive and curative properties, and 5) Development of protein-based formulas to create plant growth accelerators. Víctor is also a member of the National System of Researchers, has 10 scientific publications, and holds 2 patents.
