I am an economist with a solid academic background and more than 6 years of experience in the public and private sectors. Currently, I am the Director of the Economics Bachelor at Tecnológico de Monterrey, where I seek to inspire the next generation of economists through comprehensive education and linkage with real projects.
In my career, I have contributed as an economic consultant in strategic transportation projects, performing demand estimation, forecasting and modeling. In addition, I have been involved in sectoral research and economic foresight, and in the dissemination of economic and political newsletters. For 3 years, I had the privilege of serving as Advisor to the Technical Secretary of the National Governors' Conference (CONAGO), where I worked closely with governors and other state representatives in the coordination and follow-up of technical and executive meetings.
My technical skills include advanced handling of software such as R, STATA, Python, Ngene, and Power BI, as well as geostatistical tools such as QGIS, Visum and GeoDa. My professional interests encompass data science, applied econometrics, spatial analysis, transportation modeling and economic research.
I am able to work under pressure, adapt to different team dynamics and deliver high quality results on time.
