Dr. Pedro Carreon is passionate about graduate business education.
He has a work history of more than 25 years that combines public, private and non-profit institutions, which have given him a unique understanding of business and a 360-degree perspective of the world in which they operate, enabling leaders and organizations to prosper. in your business ecosystem.
Throughout his professional life, he supported multiple investment projects of national and foreign companies in our country and, through the Tecnológico de Monterrey, he collaborated as a consultant at the Family Business Institute, the Eugenio Garza Lagüera Entrepreneurship Institute, and the Best Managed Mexican Companies Award granted jointly with Deloitte and Citibanamex.
Today, his teaching and research activity focuses on the field of innovative entrepreneurship. His most recent publications deal mainly with the creation of new companies and the growth aspirations of Mexican entrepreneurs based on data from the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) project. Likewise, he actively participates in the media and gives conferences in different national and international forums that promote the entrepreneurial mindset.
Dr. Carreón earned his PhD in Entrepreneurship from EGADE Business School and at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, ¿¿academic credentials that are complemented by extensive participation in executive development programs at universities abroad, international organizations, government agencies, industrial associations, think tanks, and private companies.
He is currently the director of the Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) in Guadalajara, and the Online MBA both from EGADE Business School.
