Reyes-Villegas, Ernesto

Overview

Ernesto Reyes Villegas is an Assistant Research Professor in the Department of Sustainable and Civil Technologies at Tecnológico de Monterrey, Monterrey Campus, and Director of the Chemical Engineering Program. He teaches in the Chemical Engineering and Environmental Sciences programs and has over ten years of teaching experience. He is a member of the National System of Researchers (SNI) at level C and actively participates in the air quality research group. His research focuses on the study of air quality and its impact on public health and the environment. He holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and a Master's and a Doctorate in Environmental Sciences with a specialization in air quality from the University of Manchester. He has completed postdoctoral fellowships at various international institutions, strengthening his collaborative network. He is a member of associations such as the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) and the Mexican Association of Environmental Sciences (AMECA). She has published over 30 indexed articles, several book chapters, and presented her work at national and international conferences, in addition to supervising three doctoral candidates. She is passionate about connecting science with society through impactful projects.
